Janice and Will called me earlier. They called and just wanted to tell me that they are at the new San Franciso shopping center eating a huge green tea cream puff at Beard Papa's! That's all they want to say to me while I am here working hard...poor me. On top of that, I have a class later on. errrr....I want cream puffs too! I need a break...

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

This verse popped up in mind tonight when I was looking at these two special gifts I received today: a Bible and a set of bamboo coasters.

I got this Bible as an appreciation gift for being the SOP member of last year. Actually I think I am the one who should thank SOP for loving me and helping me to grow. It is a place where I feel safe, loved, a place like home. I’ve been going to SOP for the past two years and it has been a great experience throughout these two years. Reflecting upon last year, I know I’ve learned and experienced so much. God truly blessed this ministry to change and bless a lot of people. May God continue to pour out His anointing and His spirit on this ministry.

My dear friend, Sherry, bought these bamboo coasters when she had the trip to China during Christmas vacation. Very sweet of her…it’s so touching to know that she thought about me even when she was on the other side of the world! =) Thank you Sherry!

On the way home, I feel I am so loved by my dear heavenly Father, loved by my dear family, and loved by my dear friends. God has given me so much that I am really a blessed girl. “What can I offer to God?” I asked myself that. He already gave His one and only son. “What can I give to Him?”

As I was looking at these two special gifts, the Bible reminds me the love of God, the salvation of God, the joy of God, the peace of God, the forgiveness of God, the power of God, the healing of God, just all the riches in Him. The bamboo coasters remind me all the dear friends and love ones God has given in my life. Every good and perfect gift is from above! Thank You Lord! =)

Tonight, I made my own dinner!
I have this craving for masago (orange tiny fish eggs) once in a while. On the way home tonight, I decided to make my favorite sushi: crab meat with masago (as much as masago as I want!)
I think it's time to learn how to COOK!!

Life is “Movement.” Movement is “March.”
True life is not a mere movement, but a purposeful march.
In order to change death to life, the true life, Jesus, marched from heaven to earth and continued to march on this earth. This is all about the “Life March.”
This Life March that Jesus started must be continued for there are so many people who need the true life, Jesus.

My friend, Iris, and her team are going on a mission trip to Philippine for one year. Yes, one whole year! It is definitely a big decision in life and great commitment before God.

I’ve known Iris since September of last year. We met each other in a meeting at work. I still remember the time when she shared about her mission trip to Philippine during the summer and I was just so touched by her passion for God and people, especially kids. Even though we’ve known each other only for a couple of months but we can share so much with each other. I really thank God for bringing her into my life. In her, there is humility, passion, love, courage, strength, and encouragement.

Iris, I really treasure our friendship and may God fill your heart with His joy and love, and use you as His precious vessel to bring His love to those who are in need. May God protect you every step of the way and surround you with songs of deliverance.

Two years ago, Dad decided to learn how to use the computer. Now he has his own laptop and able to check and send emails, search online, upload pictures, and even update the news on the church website. Last year, he continued to improve his computer skill and went on to learn how to use powerpoint. Now he makes his powerpoint for his Sunday sermons. This time, year of 2007, his new year resolution/learning goal is learning to ride a horse!! Two weeks ago, he went to pick his horse and bought a pair of cowboy boots. Today, he actually went and had his first horseback riding lesson!! All I can say is Good Job Dad!!真的是太利害了!!果然是說真的!!! Very proud of him, a lifelong learner! But, BE CAREFUL!!! =P

I don't think I've ever announced it on my blog. Janice is pregnant!!! I guess this is not a new news but it is a big news for our family!! The first grandchild and first great-grandchild. So, I just want to say it again here!! "I am going to be the real auntie Sydney!!" Our whole family is very excited for Janice and Will. The baby is now 13 weeks and about to step into the second trimester. As we counted the days back, we think the baby is a Paris baby. I guess it is true that Paris makes you falling in love. haha =P

Today is the baby's third check-up. I think they should able to hear the baby's heartbeat. It's just very amazing to see Janice's tummy getting bigger and bigger. Will and Janice are moving back by the end of this month. I believe there are a lot of changes once they are back, both for them and for the whole family. Please keep them in your prayers, thank you! =)

This is a birthday gift I gave to Janice last year, a baby girl bunny plush toy. I can't wait to find out if it's a girl or boy, then I can start shopping for baby stuff. ^__^

Mission Accomplished!!!

YAY!! DONE!!!
I was working on a 47-page translation last week. I am the kind of person who tends to put things off; therefore, I was a little stressed out as the deadline approached. To make it fun, I wrote down each page number on the paper and once I finish a page, I would get up and use the red marker to cross out the page number. It's a great way to see how far I need to go to complete everything. It just gives me a sense of accomplishment when all the pages are crossed out!

Still learning how to live a stress-free life and I think this will probably help. I just have to get a big poster and list out my goals and to-do things. Every time I reach my goal or complete a task, I can run to the poster and cross it out or put a big check mark!!! Good idea to start off my new year resolutinos!! haha =P
