Day Four

It's a tough day today! Good to be back in the hotel room. We're extremely tired so the journal of the day will be a short and brief one. The reason I said it's been a "tough" day was because the bus ride to "Dole Plantation," which is located in the central part of the island, took us one and half hour. It was much longer than we thought due to the constant stops in downtown and residential areas. I guess we were the only tourists who took the bus there. The people who were on the bus with us were all local Hawaiian people. We saw the poor and hard-working side of Hawaiians. People take long bus rides to go home from works and schools.

Aloha! Welcome to Dole Plantation!
We were so surprised to see one peacock outside the gift shop.
We enjoyed the pineapple ice cream with crushed pineapple as the topping and their fresh pineapple juice. That's how pineapples grow. Pineapple Garden Maze, the largest maze in the world! Pineapple Express More funny photos! Aloha~ Aloha~ Aloha~Time to say Good Bye to pineapples. =)
We then headed to North Shore but the town was quiet today. The famous Giovanni's shrimp truck was closed! Man....we came all the way to try their shrimps and they closed early today. I was very disappointed....................And the shave ice store is on the other side of the town where is too far for us to walk to. So, we took the bus back home....another one and half hour bus ride.

For dinner tonight, we ate at the Makai Market Food Court inside the Ala Moana Shopping Center. We had seafood supreme spaghetti and shrimp and beef Japanese grill.
Gotta sleep early tonight. Good night!
