Pyramid Beer

Happy Hour makes you happy.

We went to many "Happy Hours" to have our late lunch/early dinner while we were at Seattle. Mom was happy that we took her to those "Happy Hours" to enjoy the great ambiances, foods and alcohols, and of course, cheaper prices. We were there mainly for the foods because we don't really drink and honestly, we don't know the names on the wine/beer list. Three of us would share either one glass of wine or beer.

We went to a seafood restaurant one of the nights and the waiter recommended a beer that he thinks is the most popular and good with the seafood, Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen. Mom loved it! This aromatic and light brew is really great with the shellfish.

I just googled it and found its official website. Surprisingly, it's the gold medal winner of 2009 Great American Beer Festival.
